Hello everyone. My name is Brandon and I am currently serving with the 101st Airborne Division as an infantryman. The road hasn’t been easy, the rewards haven’t been many, but if I had the choice, I would do it all again. I love my job (most days) and seem to run on about five hours of sleep a night, energy drinks in ungodly amounts, and about a can of Copenhagen wintergreen a day.
However, I am more than just an infantryman. I am also a radio operator at the platoon level. So that means that my job is to take notes, listen, and talk. A lot. My basic job is to become a walking, talking antenna. It’s a very technical job, as I have several different radio configurations to have completely mastered across several programming systems.
So. My goal here is to first and foremost paint you a picture of life here in Fort Campbell and overseas. Warning: some language will be used, so make sure you deal with any small children that are around if you do not want them exposed to it.
Any questions? Send me an email. I would love to hear from you. Brandoj2015@outlook.com.
Hope to hear from some of y’all soon! And don’t be scared to comment!
